Delicious and healthy, responsibly. As the name suggests, Saimaa fresh is fresh rainbow trout grown in Saimaa’s clean water, but indoors. Controlled growth conditions provide excellent conditions for growing high-quality fish in an environmentally friendly manner.

We grow our fish into portion sizes, so home and professional cooks can easily and quickly prepare a healthy and delicious meal. Ecology is an important part of modern food production.

Saimaan Tuore uses 99% less water than traditional fish farming, and we only release purified water into nature. This is how we keep Saimaa’s water clean in the future. We also support the revival of migratory fish stocks in the Saimaa region.

Aito Maku

Aito Maku salad dressings and marinades and the popular NakuMajo are produced by Varkaus Aito Oy, a family business from Varkaus. 

The company has been making its products since 1993. All Aito Maku sauces are made in Varkaus – for a Finnish taste.

The raw materials we use have a high degree of domesticity. Only the ingredients needed for seasoning come from abroad.
