Moomin ice cave in Leppavirta
The ice fairy tale based on “Magic Winter” by Tove Jansson can be accessed directly from the vestibule of the Vesileppis hotel. In a cave located at a depth of 30 meters, everything is made of ice – the Moomin sculptures, the five-meter Moomin house and even the legendary bridge, familiar to everyone from fairy tales and cartoons about the Moomin universe. And skiing from an ice slide will appeal not only to children, but also adults, especially since the temperature in the cave does not rise above zero even in summer.
